You would do well to read Heather Havrilesky’s “Ask Polly” newsletter. She offers really good advice via smart, meandering writing, nearly always ending in a place of radical acceptance. This piece walks us through loving imperfect people when the world feels ignorant and mean.  We can do this! (Because we have to do this.)
